Emily is an editor and motion graphics designer who has worked in many aspects of film and TV production from previsualization to stop-motion animation. Her work on The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse earned her two Emmy nominations and allowed her to collaborate with Imagineers on Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway ride at Disneyland.
Her animated web-series Gremlin Girl is distributed by WhoHaHa, and her co-written script Ada placed in Screencraft’s Screenwring Competition and Fellowship as well as Austin Film Festival’s Screenplay Competition.
Emily has spoken at panels for Animation Is Film festival, Create Now, Creators Society, Northwestern University, and RiseUp Animation.
She studied film at Northwestern University and FAMU in Prague and has a Masters in Creative Writing from Denver University. She enjoys excessively challenging hikes, rock climbing, black & white photography, and any excuse to be outdoors.
